We are here on standby. We are ready to help you take that next step.

Principles of Addiction Rehab

Our aim is to provide you with confidential and reliable advice regarding our addiction couselling service and addiction rehab. We are staffed by highly experienced and expert professionals in addiction medicine and counselling, who are ethically bound to give you advice according to the latest evidence of what works.

Process

We understand that there may be concerns regarding treatment, particularly in terms of cost, location and success. That is why we are here. We can advise you on individually tailored programmes. We can help all concerned decide on a comprehensive program that is affordable to your budget. You can telephone to speak with us straight away in confidence or email us with the guarantee of a timely response.

We can also provide free/low cost accompanied transfers to our treatment centre. Pleae call us for details. We firmly believe in removing any barriers to successful treatment and so if a chaperone is required for any reason, we can arrange this.

We recognise that rehabilitation is only the first step on the journey to recovery. Therefore, each individual is assigned a Primary Treatment Worker who will be in contact every step of the way. We make regular follow-up calls to monitor progress and provide any support that is needed following treatment.

Our helpline is open 7 days a week, and has a 24 hour messaging service which will be responded to by one of our trained advisors as soon as possible should you call out of hours.

Treatment Options

We have an in-depth knowledge of the full range of treatment services and programme options throughout the UK and abroad, and that is why we believe in our centre. We have done the research and matached our services to the highest possible standards.

Process

Decisions will need to be made regarding the setting for the detox (community or in-patient detoxification), the agent to be used, adjunctive medication to be prescribed, and the necessary degree of monitoring during detoxification. In general, in-patient as opposed to community detoxification is indicated in the following circumstances:

Aftercare

Aftercare is a vital part of addiction treatment, which is why it comes as standard as part of the treatment programs we arrange. We understand that the transition from a rehabilitation centre back into the home environment can be challenging. Therefore, we can arrange one-to-one counselling in the home location to ensure that the relevant support is always available. This ongoing support is a continuation of the coping mechanisms and relapse prevention strategies learned within a treatment centre.

We also recommend attending the appropriate self help meetings, whether it is Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, or Cocaine Anonymous.

Arranging Treatment

There are a number of different treatments available. It is important that the treatment is tailored to the individual – addiction is different for each person; there is no “one-size-fits-all solution”. In order to find out the treatment that represents the best chance of success for all concerned, call one of our experienced advisors.
