Are you feeling confused about the various treatment options available to you? Then it’s time to get in touch with us at Addiction Advisor.

We specialise in helping people to find alcohol and drug addiction rehab in East Anglia.

Whether you’re seeking residential, outpatient or even at-home treatment for your addiction, we can assist. We’ll work with you to help you find a treatment provider that’s right for your needs and circumstances.

When looking for rehab online it is important to remember that there are a number of different treatments available. It is important that the treatment is tailored to the individual – addiction is different for each person; there is no “one-size-fits-all solution”. This consideration is often one that is not catered for when looking for rehab online.

Rehab care refers to residential rehabilitation treatment for substance misuse. Rehabilitation centres can help with addiction to a variety of substances including alcohol, heroin, cocaine, and cannabis amongst others, please call one of our highly-trained advisors on 0800 246 5947.

Why we consider residential treatment superior

At Addiction Advisor we think that residential treatment is usually the better choice in being able to stop an addiction. Moving short term into a residential rehab clinic won’t just separate you from those addiction triggers that lead you to drink alcohol or take drugs, but you will also have on hand medical assistance. Your care is 24 hours and you will have the comfort and assistance if you experience any unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. If you experienced such symptoms (including seizures or hallucinations) whilst at home, the consequences could be fatal.
Our knowledge and experience of the different residential treatment centres means we can advise on the various treatment centres, facilities, options and costs, helping you to find the one that will be best to treat your addiction.

Aftercare is particularly vital for those individuals who are only able to take away enough time to complete a detox program. We recognises that it is often impractical for a person to travel back to the treatment centre for aftercare appointments. Often people will have travelled some distance from home to get some time away, or to access the best value options. Therefore, when a treatment programme is arranged through us we will arrange aftercare in the home location. This means that the person has one-to-one support available to them from an experienced counsellor near to their home.

We realise that life goes on when you return home. Therefore, our counsellors will be flexible with appointment times so that you may fit them around work and family commitments. In some circumstances it may not be possible for the person to travel to their counsellor and so we can also arrange home visits or telephone aftercare. For those who plan to go abroad after treatment, many of our counsellors will also be happy to provide aftercare over Skype, so that the support can continue no matter where in the world the person resides.

The advantage of our aftercare is that it takes place on a one-to-one basis, the role of the aftercare counsellor is to focus on matters that are personal to the individual. There is also the benefit of knowing that the support is coming from a highly trained professional, rather than from a peer group.
