An assessment and diagnosis report will establish the correct pathway of treatment for each individual. A bespoke treatment and medication regimen will be prescribed to meet individual needs. The tried and tested evidence based treatments produce real results even for those who have previously struggled to remain sober.

At Wellington Lodge it is recognised that detoxification and rehabilitation can seem like a daunting task. The treatment programme will provide the crucial expert support needed whilst undergoing this stage of recovery. Should personal needs and time restraints prevent an individual from undertaking an extended in-patient treatment programme, an innovative Detox Plus programme may be offered. This incorporates the intervention of the full recovery programme but within a much shorter time frame.

During the phases of treatment, the person will learn how to remain sober and live a life free of alcohol. They will be provided with the necessary skills and knowledge to make positive choices and changes in their life and may discover new meaning and purpose. The person will be provided with the tools to prevent relapse and minimise any cravings for alcohol.

How Long Could Treatment for Alcohol Addiction at Wellington House Take?

All patients are assessed on their own unique requirements and each treatment programme is completely bespoke to the individual. Detox at Wellington House will usually take 7-14 days, although in some circumstances it may be over a shorter or longer period of time. The duration of treatment including the psychological support can be between 4 and 12 weeks.
